Niagara Fools

posted in Bizarre, Culture, Humor, Nerdstuff, Oddities, Sao Paulo, TV, Videos by Rico Ferrari |

Some guys organized this flash mob in Sao Paulo (man, I love this town), in 2004. They repeat the event every year since then. This one was set up in Avenida Paulista and environs, the Brazilian version of Wall Street, NY. The red columns building is Museu de Artes de Sao Paulo, known as MASP - Sao Paulo Arts Museum, which abbreviation in English spells SPAM (!).

Niagara Fools is an old Woody Woodpecker cartoon episode and this episode in particular has become very popular in Brazil, god only knows why (maybe because it’s fun as hell? March! heh).

The footage and edition were made by Fabio Yamaggio and the flash mob organized by Ana Paula.

Mmm… yep: HOORAY!

2006 edition:

PS: I’ve RAVAGED the Internet looking for an English version of Niagara Fools to no avail. If you know where I can find it, let me know.
