So the Christ the Redeemer won the (very suspicious) election to the new 7 Wonders of the World? Don’t worry: The other Brazilian candidate was even worst. Now you’ll know Borba Gato*, The Wonder Wide Waste:
*Borba Gato is a 17th century (1649-1718) Brazilian pioneer and a kind of God’s Scourge to the native indians. The statue on the video is a 10 meters high (30 feet) alien capable of scaring even the smartest of the kids. The video is a inauguration of the statue’s candidacy for the mayor seat next year. We hope Borba Gato will at least ban the billboard ban. Go, Borba Gato, go. I’ll vote for him.

First, Mr. Kassab, Mayor of Sao Paulo City, prohibited the billboards, now is the polluted air. This is a bit arbitrary, is it not? I am very afraid about one thing: could we have permission to fart at open air? See the this post, “an almost class” about this subject by Rico Ferrari.

The name, Edigar Mao Branca. You can translate something like this: Edgar White Hand.
This fella is a representative in Brazilian Congress and he insists on keeping his hat (a kind of cowboy hat) during the sessions of the parliament. He says he always used it – at any place – since he was a horse tamer, long ago!
Lord, have mercy of Brazil…

In Brazil, there’s an assigned time in national TV for representative candidates to show up their platforms. It’s mandatory and it shows up in all TV broadcasters at the same time. This is a video made with the most bizarre candidates to the past 2006 general balloting. Some of them got actually elected. For me, the best, most bizarre of the lot is Lara, 31031. By the way, this numbers assigned to the candidates are the numbers people use to vote for them on the electronic ballots.
