This commercial building at 287, Paulista Av. is called Santa Catarina, but I don´t know if it belongs to the Hospital of the same name. It is new and when I saw it for the first time I have thought about a “glassy wedding cake”!

That draw is one of my favourite from the third tome of Debret oeuvre about Brazil. It is a piece of very good humor!

Unemployed since the eighties, He-Man left Greyskull to live in Brazil. Though he’s a pitiful failure since he was fired from Hollywood, he’s still powerful in some ways, so this motorbike shop employs him as a debt collector.

Everybody knows cats always land on their feet. Everybody knows what happens when you drop a buttered bread: it alwats land butter side down. And everybody remembers the cat/bread butter paradox. Mauricio Adachi made this experimental movie to prove the theory.

For some strange and unknown reason, Valentines Day in Brazil is June 12th. This video shows a reporter from Jornal Nacional talking about the holiday in a shopping mall in Rio. Jornal Nacional (something like ‘National News’) is the most important and viewed TV news program nationwide, with more than 50 million viewers each day. That’s why this guys behaved like ‘tards*. Red freezer from the 70′.

This lavatory or toilet, whatever ( I never know how this is called) is so red that your eyes pain. It is inside a cinema called Gemini II in the Paulista Avenue, Sao Paulo.

Well, I was alone, so I have taken those photos!
