An old Grumman Albatross at Campo de Marte Airport in São Paulo, around five years ago. You can not believe, but this old and beautiful machine is ready to fly again.

Street signs, billboards and the like

Long ago most of Brazilian business chose their names from French or Italian if they wanted to look cool. So there was a bunch of “boulevards, coiffeurs, belvedere”, etc. From the 50’s onwards, Brazilians started to use English, instead. This is a collection of pics send to Kibeloco from people in all country’s corners. Brazilians trying to write English:

Pele in action

I was 7 when Pele retired from soccer. Though I remember his last official match in USA Cosmos, I’ve never saw he actually playing in a true world class league team. So for all of you like me who never saw Pele actually playing, the video above (yep, this is Ira’s fault, heh).
